Design\u00a0and assembly of a\u00a0Class D\u00a0audio amplifier\u00a0with\u00a0high power\u00a0NPC- DCI topology for PA systems<\/strong>.<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Currently, the\u00a0audio\u00a0amplifier\u00a0or switched\u00a0amplifiers Class\u00a0– D\u00a0are the highest\u00a0efficiency in\u00a0the world of\u00a0electronics applied to\u00a0sound.\u00a0Over the past decade\u00a0the\u00a0amplified\u00a0audio with switched system\u00a0applications have increase\u00a0efficiency\u00a0and compete\u00a0with the classical\u00a0linear stages.\u00a0Class-D being\u00a0the cause\u00a0of the division of\u00a0the typical applications for\u00a0audio\u00a0amplifiers.<\/p>\n

For high\u00a0power\u00a0acoustic (Shows,\u00a0PA systems,\u00a0concerts), where the most important is efficiency and not sound quality, you can work at\u00a0lower switching\u00a0frequencies.\u00a0On the other\u00a0hand,\u00a0for high\u00a0quality (HiFi, Professional Audio) most important\u00a0is the quality\u00a0than efficiency. An amplifier that would work in high\u00a0power, high\u00a0sound quality, it would mean\u00a0an important advance in\u00a0the world\u00a0of amplification.\u00a0Multilevel\u00a0systems\u00a0for working\u00a0at high\u00a0powers\u00a0and qualities.<\/p>\n

In this project we\u00a0designed\u00a0a prototype\u00a0Class\u00a0– D\u00a0amplifier\u00a0with multinivel topology for distributed audio\u00a0amplification\u00a0and\u00a0high power(1000W)<\/strong>, intended for\u00a0PA systems, with\u00a0the\u00a0energy performance advantage over\u00a0other systems.<\/p>\n

The document is divided into chapters,\u00a0exposing, firstly, the\u00a0motivation\u00a0to\u00a0do it with\u00a0the proposed objectives\u00a0and how they have\u00a0managed to be achieved.\u00a0It also\u00a0contains all the\u00a0knowledge gained\u00a0in research\u00a0to understand\u00a0all the content from\u00a0the first reading, which explains\u00a0important concepts in audio,\u00a0comparing different\u00a0types of\u00a0amplifiers\u00a0like \u00a0fundamentals of\u00a0multilevel topologies, three\u00a0and five levels\u00a0switched,\u00a0and the characteristics of\u00a0the power transistors\u00a0and fast switching.<\/p>\n

\"\"The third and\u00a0fourth chapter\u00a0contains all the information\u00a0for the design and\u00a0prototype development,\u00a0from the\u00a0input\u00a0analog audio\u00a0signal\u00a0to its\u00a0output, detailing\u00a0all internal processes\u00a0and how they have\u00a0come to them.\u00a0The analysis of results\u00a0of the prototype\u00a0will be key to\u00a0determine the achievement\u00a0of the objectives, identifying\u00a0problems\u00a0have been found and\u00a0the\u00a0solutions to achievethe desired specifications.<\/p>\n
