a\u00a0virtual\u00a0PLL\u00a0programmed in LabVIEW\u00a0with a resolution\u00a0of\u00a0 2 \u00b5g.<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">This project was created\u00a0from the study\u00a0of sensors based on\u00a0resonant\u00a0lever\u00a0scales with atograms\u00a0resolution to\u00a0submicron\u00a0dimensions\u00a0monolithically\u00a0integrated\u00a0into\u00a0CMOS circuitry.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-364\" title=\"pfc uib foto\" src=\"http:\/\/bernatriera.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/09\/pfc-uib-foto.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"900\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"http:\/\/bernatriera.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/09\/pfc-uib-foto.png justify;\">The\u00a0implemented prototype\u00a0is composed of a\u00a0millimeter and\u00a0resonant\u00a0lever\u00a0with which wereached\u00a0accuracies of\u00a0micrograms\u00a0by\u00a0vibration of a\u00a0current\u00a0speaker\u00a0audio.\u00a0The\u00a0project consists of a\u00a0software development\u00a0based on\u00a0<strong>LabVIEW\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0hardware\u00a0development, with\u00a0data\u00a0acquisition system,\u00a0IP\u00a0Control,\u00a0conditioner\u00a0cirtuit\u00a0Senar\u00a0and\u00a0printed\u00a0board\u00a0<strong>PCB<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/bernatriera.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/09\/sensor2.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-580 alignleft\" title=\"sensor\" src=\"http:\/\/bernatriera.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/09\/sensor2.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"220\" height=\"139\" \/><\/a>Vibrating the\u00a0piezoelectric\u00a0sensor\u00a0(lever) and the\u00a0image on the left\u00a0causes\u00a0a deformation of the material\u00a0which in turn\u00a0produces\u00a0electric current\u00a0at a certain frequency\u00a0(fo)\u00a0When\u00a0placed\u00a0over the sensor\u00a0material, like a drop\u00a0of alcohol\u00a0or other material,\u00a0causes a change in\u00a0the resonance\u00a0in the electric generation\u00a0for which we are\u00a0able to measure\u00a0this gap\u00a0and to know the\u00a0weight of the drop.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In addition, we can see\u00a0in terms of time\u00a0as a drop of\u00a0liquid on the\u00a0sensor\u00a0evaporates, and\u00a0the weight recorded\u00a0in the software\u00a0is reduced\u00a0back to its\u00a0initial scan.\u00a0The following figure shows\u00a0the frequency change\u00a0with time\u00a0resulting in a\u00a0drop of ethanol\u00a0over the sensor.\u00a0As\u00a0is observed\u00a0in only 80 seconds\u00a0to evaporate completely.\u00a0The experiments\u00a0were performed with\u00a0other materials such as\u00a0distilled water,\u00a0all of them with\u00a0different times\u00a0of evaporation\u00a0(Cap\u00a06).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a
